📍 About this Campus
TUM Asia (officially GIST-TUM Asia: German Institute of Science and Technology) opened in Singapore in 2002 as the first overseas campus of a German university. Located at SIT@SP Building on Dover Road, the campus delivers TUM-awarded master's degrees and (with Singapore Institute of Technology) undergraduate engineering degrees. TUM professors travel regularly from Munich to teach in Singapore, and master's students complete a 2-4 month overseas component on the Munich campus.

🌟 Student Life
TUM Asia students experience both Singapore and Germany: most master's students spend a 2-4 month module on the Munich campus, with full access to TUM facilities. In Singapore, students collaborate with NUS, NTU and SIT partners on joint research projects through TUMCREATE. Career outcomes are strong: graduates work at Siemens, ST Engineering, Bosch, Infineon and Singapore government innovation boards. The German-Asian dual cultural exposure is highly valued by employers in engineering.
