Swinburne University of Technology is a public Australian university based in Melbourne, ranked #284 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025. Swinburne Vietnam is an international alliance between Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) and FPT University Vietnam, established in 2019. The Hanoi campus opened first, followed by Ho Chi Minh City (2021), Da Nang (2021), and Can Tho. The Hanoi campus on Duong Khue Street is designed as "Australia in miniature" featuring a Sydney Bridge symbol, town hall replica, "Little Australia" zone, Innovation Lab, library to Swinburne standards, multipurpose rooms and the Café Delight. All curriculum and assessment is delivered by Swinburne-approved academics with content created by Swinburne Australia. Students can complete the entire degree in Vietnam, or transfer to the Hawthorn (Melbourne) campus to complete their studies.
