π About this Campus
Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (SUTS) was established in 2000 as a partnership between Swinburne Australia and the Sarawak state government, part of Sarawak's strategy to attract world-class education to the region. Located on a 16.5-acre campus in Kuching, the charming capital city of Sarawak, the university is 15 minutes from Kuching International Airport and adjacent to residential and commercial areas with hospitals, malls and entertainment within walking distance. Students receive the same Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) degree as those at the Melbourne campus. The curriculum mirrors the Melbourne flagship campus, and students can complete their degrees in Kuching, transfer to Melbourne, or participate in exchange programmes in Germany, South Korea and the USA.
