Suzhou Centennial Vocational College, founded in 2011, offers associate-degree (sub-degree) vocational programmes across applied technology, business and creative industries. The college is the first Sino-Canadian vocational joint venture in China, partnering Centennial College of Toronto with Suzhou University of Science and Technology. Most programmes lead to a 3-year diploma with a possible top-up to a Canadian bachelor's at Centennial College in Toronto. This is a vocational/community college tier, different from full degree-granting universities elsewhere on this site.

Suzhou Centennial is a vocational college focused on applied skills training, with a more pre-professional atmosphere than a research university. Smaller student body (~3,000), tight-knit classes and strong industry placement programmes. Located in Suzhou, a popular city for international students thanks to its mix of traditional Chinese culture (canals, gardens) and modern industry, plus 30 mins to Shanghai by high-speed rail.
