NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences is one of the Netherlands' largest universities of applied sciences (HBO), formed from a 2018 merger between NHL University and Stenden University. With over 25,000 students across the Netherlands and international campuses in South Africa, Qatar, Thailand, and Bali, NHL Stenden is the most internationally distributed Dutch HBO institution. It is particularly strong in hospitality, business administration, education, and tourism. Universitas Triatma Mulya Stenden Bali was established in 2009 through a cooperation between STIE Triatma Mulya (Bali) and Stenden University (Netherlands). It is the only international university in Bali offering double bachelor degrees from two governments simultaneously: a Dutch BSc/BA from NHL Stenden plus an Indonesian Sarjana Ekonomi (SE). The campus is in Dalung, southern Bali, in the heart of the tourist region. To receive the Dutch degree, third-year students must complete one year (60 ECTS credits) at the NHL Stenden Netherlands campus, a built-in international experience unique among Indonesian universities. Specialises in hospitality and international business, with paid internships at Bali's top resorts including Alila Villas & Resorts.
