The University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) was established in October 2012 as part of EduCity Iskandar Malaysia. In October 2021, the campus relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art facility at Eco Galleria, Iskandar Puteri, a 150,000 square-foot multi-storey campus accommodating up to 2,000 students. Located in a large commercial complex with restaurants, cafes, shops and medical facilities, and adjacent to EduCity's world-class sports complex. UoSM is the highest-ranked UK university in Malaysia (QS #81) and the only UK university in Malaysia to offer Aerospace Engineering. Engineering programmes follow a unique 2+2 pathway, 2 years in Malaysia and 2 years in the UK, allowing students to experience both worlds while saving significantly on overall degree costs.
