The RMIT Vietnam Hanoi campus opened in 2004 as the second of RMIT's campuses in Vietnam. With around 1,400 students, the urban campus serves students in northern Vietnam who study Business and Management, IT, Communication and English. It is centrally located in Hanoi's Ba Dinh District, providing easy access to the city's amenities, embassies and cultural sites. The Hanoi campus is described as an "innovation hub" offering students intensive networks with industry partners across northern Vietnam.
