Middlesex University, London (Hendon)
Middlesex University is a London-based public university with a strong international presence, campuses in London, Dubai, Mauritius and Malta. Its London origins date to 1878, achieving university status in 1992. Middlesex is known for Business, Computing, Law, Psychology and Creative Industries, and is recognised for its commitment to widening access to UK higher education globally. Inter-campus transfer is available between London, Dubai and Mauritius.

Middlesex Mauritius library and learning commons
Middlesex University Mauritius opened in 2009 as the first British university in Mauritius and was the first to receive Mauritius Tertiary Education Commission accreditation. In 2017, the campus moved to a purpose-built 8,200 m² facility within the Uniciti Education Hub in Flic-en-Flac on the west coast, a Medine-led joint-venture campus. Students earn the same London-validated degree as Hendon students at a fraction of UK cost, with the option of transfer to London or Dubai during their studies. Around 1,600 students from 45 nationalities study at the campus.

The Uniciti hub is purpose-built for higher education and integrates student residences, a multi-sport facility (SPARC), shopping mall, and outdoor green spaces. Flic-en-Flac is a coastal town with beach access and an established expatriate community. Middlesex Mauritius emphasises a “One Middlesex” identity, buildings on the campus are named after London buildings to reinforce the connection.
