📍 About this Campus
Keele University, Greece was launched in 2025 as one of only four foreign universities authorised to establish a University Legal Entity (ULE) in Greece under Law 5094/2024. The Athens campus operates in strategic partnership with Metropolitan College, Greece's largest private education provider, in a purpose-refurbished building featuring laboratories, innovation hubs and collaborative learning spaces. This arrangement allows Keele to deliver UK-standard degrees in Greece without requiring direct capital investment. The first cohort began UG studies in 2025–26 across four degrees, with postgraduate programmes in Forensic Science with Policing, Medical Ethics and Public Health scheduled to launch in 2026–27. All Keele Greece students receive a Keele University degree, fully equivalent to Greek public university qualifications and recognised internationally.

🌟 Student Life
Athens is the historic capital of Greece, a Mediterranean city of around 3.7 million people with a vibrant café culture, lively neighbourhoods such as Plaka, Kolonaki, and Psiri, and unmatched cultural attractions including the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the National Archaeological Museum. The city has excellent public transport (metro, bus, tram), and is well-connected internationally via Athens International Airport. Keele Greece students benefit from the academic and social infrastructure of Metropolitan College, which has been delivering tertiary education in Athens for decades. The Mediterranean climate, low cost of living relative to most Western European capitals, and proximity to islands and historical sites make Athens a popular destination for international students.
