📍 About this Campus
IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi opened in January 2024, the first international campus of any IIT. Established through a partnership between the Ministry of Education India, IIT Delhi and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), signed July 2023 during PM Modi's UAE visit. UG admissions began Sept 2024 with 30 students per programme. BTech Chemical Engineering added 2025. The campus accommodates specialised research centres in sustainable energy, climate, computing and data sciences. Faculty are seconded from IIT Delhi with local expert appointments.
