Duke Kunshan University was founded in 2013 as a Sino-US joint venture between Duke University, Wuhan University and the Municipality of Kunshan. UG students complete two semesters at Duke in Durham, North Carolina (typically Years 2-3), and receive both a DKU degree (Chinese Ministry of Education) and a Duke University Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts. The interdisciplinary curriculum follows a liberal arts model with majors in Data Science, Global Health, Environmental Science, and more.
