🌟 Student Life
Astana (Nur-Sultan) is the modern, futuristic capital of Kazakhstan, with a population of around 1.4 million and a striking skyline of contemporary architecture including the Bayterek tower and the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The capital sits on the Eurasian Steppe and has a continental climate. Coventry's city centre campus puts students at the heart of the diplomatic, government and business district. Like Coventry in the UK, Astana is a designated city of peace and reconciliation, and the partnership is celebrated with 5,000 commemorative Kazpost stamps issued for the campus opening. Students enjoy access to government, NGO and corporate placements through Coventry Kazakhstan's strategic partnerships.
