University of Birmingham Dubai was the first global QS Top 100 / Russell Group university to establish a campus in Dubai (September 2018), located in Dubai International Academic City. In September 2025, the university unveiled a new purpose-built 50,000 sqm campus to accommodate up to 3,000 students, designed to fuse Birmingham's historic Aston Webb redbrick architecture with Arabic heritage. Holds UAE Ministry of Higher Education Institutional Licensure via the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
